When I was still single and in the career world, I decided to take up Master’s in Business Administration. I was in the field of engineering but taking up any Master’s Degree would be one way to get your way to the top, even if it’s not that related to your job. I wasn’t really into business but I have learned a lot just by going for the classes and sessions and discussions. One thing I have learned in business is that if you plan to go for it and be an entrepreneur, there are basic questions you ask yourself. Few things would include:
- product – what product do you want to sell? are they in demand? is it conducive to set up that kind of business in the area? with this in mind comes next:
- strategic location – is the area well established? if not, are you willing to take a risk? are there people around that could use your product? with this comes next:
- target people – who are they? are they in the middle class? below average? on a high end? basing on the class of people you’ll be selling your products to, you have to make sure that the product you are selling will meet their needs
- marketing – how do you market your product? do you have a plan b once plan a doesn’t work out?
To answer the above question, I know of a company that does trade shows. They’re very affordable and they do custom logos for you, depending on what design you have in mind. The staff are very friendly and efficient so you’ll be sure you’ll be comfortable working with them. If you’re interested to know more about them, check out the camelbackdisplays.com.
Back to setting up a business. If you know all the answers to these basic questions, then you’re on your way to a successful entrepreneurship!
