I am keeping my kids occupied so they don’t keep bugging and asking me why their daddy hasn’t come home yet. We explained it to them that daddy will be gone for a few days and somehow, they don’t have a sense of time, yet.
Last time, there were two instances when my husband wasn’t around, the kids got sick. And so this time, before he left, I made sure I have some first aide kit with me. It’s good to have emergency medical assistance. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Just a few panadol tablets, fever tablets, plasters, etc will do. And of course, not to mention an extra supply of arts and craft thingy to keep them occupied.
