Born and living in a tropical country make us imagine how it would feel to make a snowman, make a snow angel, throw snow balls at each other, having a real pine tree for a Christmas tree or catching the first snow on your tongue. Often, we wonder how it is like to wear multiple layers of jackets and coats because in a tropical country you cannot do that. You’ll die of heat stroke.
Another thing that we tropical dwellers would love try is the snow sports. Like snowboarding, skiing, sledding or snowmobiling. Or maybe just skiing. Skiing in Alaska, Vermont or New Zealand will be the ultimate vacation for some. Before thinking of going to those places, one must think of all the things needed. Like countless of parkas and jackets, boots, snow boots, ski poles or whatever things you need for skiing.
We must also prepare our body for the extremely cold temperature and high latitudes. Maybe we ought to go to less cold places in order to acclimatize. Or if you’re in a tight budget, stay inside a fridge.
