Who’s Who

Every year, the University of the Philippines-Visayas celebrates its Foundation Week usually in August. During this week several activities are attended by the students like street painting, food bazaar, amazing race and the most anticipated, Hinugyaw. Hinugyaw is a fashion show with the students as models and designers. It is participated by students from the different academic organizations in the university. There are eight academic organizations composed of different courses. This is such a big event because all of UPV’s who’s who are present and the most talked about people are performing. It showcases the different eccentricities and talents of the students. The preparation for Hinugyaw takes months because of the deadly competition between the academic organizations. The models are the most beautiful people on campus. They undergo rigorous exercises and trainings and some of them take Lipofuze and the likes, before the competition. This year will be another exciting year for the school and everybody has been anticipating for a year for this event.
