Sleepless nights, 5,000-word papers, countless exams, late night movies, endless chats, annoying professors, cute instructors and 11th hour projects- these are the things that make up a university student’s exciting life. Most students, after a semester in college, are programmed to work efficiently with two hours worth of sleep. And so… dark eye circles are a part of our everyday view when we look in front of a mirror and so are larger than life eye bags.
There are also professors who think that we only have one subject, theirs, in one semester that they give papers and exams at the same time and demand impossible things from students. But usually, it turns out that we can do the impossible things and more. I think that is the beauty of college. We may be tired, spent and nearly-dead but our outputs more than compensate our efforts, sweat, tears and blood. These are the things that shape the students because out there, things are much harsher and there, it’s not the grades at stake but our lives and reputation.
